Personal Accounts
Individuals associated with a publicly funded institution in Alberta (like a school authority, university or college) can use their jurisdictional account to create a personal account. Personal accounts are associated with your email address and use a password of your choice. A basic personal account allows access to secure content and provides basic functionality within My Workspace. Personal account holders who are Alberta teachers may upgrade to a teacher account by submitting an active and valid Alberta professional certificate number. A teacher account provides additional functionality within My Workspace and also allows access to additional content.

Jursidictional Account
Publicly funded institutions in Alberta (like a school authority, university or college) are issued usernames and passwords that can be used by their staff and students to access secure content. We refer to these institutions as "jurisdictions".
