Jackie Hobal

Jackie Hobal, Social Studies Project Coordinator for the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium, is an experienced teacher, consultant and school administrator. Jackie has authored social studies materials, developed illustrative classroom materials and has been involved in the development of and planning for the teaching and learning of social studies programs in Alberta. Jackie has also served as a conference presenter and workshop facilitator. Jackie continues to teach as a sessional instructor, introducing the world of teaching and social studies to pre-service teachers at the University of Alberta, both in Edmonton and through the Aboriginal Teacher Education Program in Slave Lake and Grouard, Alberta.
