Myra Bielby

Myra Bielby has sat as a judge of the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta since 1990, hearing jury trials, divorce cases, personal injury claims and all types of other litigation. A past president of the Canadian Superior Courts Judges Association, she has been pleased to help develop and promote Try Judging as a tool for Canadian teachers to use in addressing the key concepts of how the law works, our responsibilities as citizens and impartial decision-making both in the courtroom and in life. A graduate of the Edmonton public school system and of the University of Alberta, she resides in Edmonton.
