How to Use this Applet

The Graph Area

• Drag the vertical or horizontal arrow buttons to change the length of the side of the square (and hence the area of the square). Drag the right side or top of the square to obtain the same result.
• Drag the "dot" to change the size of the "unit" square.

Other

• Select the SIDE (s) button to to enter a value for the length of the side of the square as text.
• Select the AREA (A) button to to enter a value for the area of the square as text.
• Select the PRECISION button to set number rounding.
• Select the arrow buttons to change the size of the "unit" square.
• Select the arrow keys to change the length of the side of the square (and hence the area of the square).
• Select the RESET button to restore the applet to the initial state.
