Iris Loewen

Iris Loewen, FNMI Coordinator with Chinook’s Edge School Division, believes strongly that Aboriginal perspectives and experiences require a personal investment of time and energy from each teacher. Iris believes that the most engaging opportunities for students and teachers to learn about other Aboriginal people come from personal connections, appropriate literature, primary artifacts and experiences on the land.
