Linda Goyette 
                                    Linda Goyette is  currently working on an anthology of immigrants’ writing, The Story That Brought Me Here. She is also writing a second  nonfiction book for children, Rocky  Mountain Kids, to be published in late 2007. Her most recent major works are the oral history Edmonton  In Our Own Words and the companion volume for children, Kidmonton: True  Stories of River City Kids.  For her extensive work in oral history, including a project for the  Edmonton Public Library, she won the Grant MacEwan Author’s Award in  2005. She worked for 20 years as a reporter, editorial writer and  columnist for the Edmonton Journal, winning  two National Newspaper Awards for her writing. A regular columnist in AlbertaViews, she also contributes  feature articles to regional and national magazines. In 1998, she published her  first book, Second Opinion, a collection of her earlier writings.
