The Influence of the Land

How do Alberta's diverse natural features influence people and how they use the land?

Synopsis

Many of the specific outcomes related to:

General Outcome 4.1, "Alberta: A Sense of the Land", may be addressed through critical challenges that invite students to consider the influence of Alberta's geography and natural history on the people and their environment. It might be useful, throughout this inquiry, to make available a large outline map where students record information about natural and human-created features of the Alberta landscape.
