Organizing Economies to Benefit All Citizens

Which economic system, Canada's or the United States', ensures a higher quality of life?

Synopsis

Many of the specific outcomes supporting General Outcome 9.2—"Students will demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of how economic decision making in Canada and the United States impacts quality of life, citizenship and identity"—may be addressed by inviting students to compare the relationship between economy and quality of life in Canada and the United States to determine how to best protect collective and individual identities and ensure the best quality of life for all citizens.
