Synopsis

The specific outcomes for General Outcome 1 "Students will explore the impacts of globalization on their lives" may be addressed by inviting students to consider the interrelationships between globalization and individual and collective identities. This inquiry explores why people strive to promote their cultures, languages and identities, and how the forces of globalization shape and are shaped by identities and cultures.
