In Pursuit of National Interests

20-1: To what extent should national interest be pursued?
20-2: Should nations pursue national interest?

Synopsis

Many of the specific outcomes related to General Outcome 2 for 20-1 "Students will assess impacts of nationalism, ultranationalism and the pursuit of national interest" and 20-2 "Students will understand impacts of nationalism, ultranationalism and the pursuit of national interest" may be addressed by inviting students to distinguish the defining features, causes and consequences of the legitimate pursuit of national interests from ultranationalist pursuits.
