My Child’s Learning: A Parent Resource

My Child’s Learning: A Parent Resource has been replaced by a new Parents space that can be found on new.LearnAlberta.ca. Parents provides information on your child’s Kindergarten to Grade 12 education and now includes details on the newly implemented subjects.

Teaching and Learning Resource Maintenance

Alberta Education regularly reviews resources to assess use, functionality, cost-effectiveness and alignment with curriculum. The following resources will no longer be available through LearnAlberta.ca.

Please note that there are two maintenance windows each week that may result in our system being unavailable. These are Sundays from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) MT and Thursdays from 11:00 pm to Fridays at 3:00 am MT.

Recent updates to Java have introduced known issues to the Java applets on the LearnAlberta.ca website. We are currently looking at converting to a more stable format, which will take some time. Updates regarding the conversion will be made available here.

You can find them all on new.LearnAlberta.ca. New.LearnAlberta.ca also offers learning and teaching resources aligned to the new curriculum, supports for implementation, provincial assessments, and a collaborative teacher planning tool called Boards.
