Introduction

Instructional Supports for All Students: High School Social Studies (Social Studies 20-4: Nationalism in Canada and the World) supports learning for Social Studies 20-4 and 20-2 students by providing, for each related issue, activities, assessments (summative assessment tasks and formative tools), resources and strategies for scaffolding instruction and learning. The instructional example reflects how the resource can be used/adapted with students, and the general strategies provide modifiable tools to support differentiated instruction and student achievement of learning outcomes.
